Spain's first round of renewable energy auction completed, winning more than 3 gigawatts

[cable network news] Spain's Government awarded a total of 3034 MW of wind and solar power generation capacity in a renewable energy auction held on Tuesday, the first renewable energy auction held in the country since July 2017.
According to the Spanish Ministry of ecological transformation, the auction results mainly include 2036 MW photovoltaic projects and 998 MW wind power projects. The auction attracted 9700 MW projects.
Among them, the weighted average price of solar photovoltaic reaches 24.47 euro per MWh. The lowest price of solar energy is 14.89 euro / MWh, which is a 30 MW project proposed by Ignis, the Spanish energy group. The highest price is offered by Enel green power Espana at 28.9 EUR / MWh.
The weighted average price of wind power generation is 25.31 euro / MWh, and the overall quotation is between 20.00 euro / MWh and 28.89 euro / MWh.
The biggest winner of the auction was Spanish renewable energy retailer capital energy, which won 625mW of wind power projects under the name of capital energy and green capital power.
