[Cable Network News] On the morning of March 29, the UHV transmission project with the highest voltage level, the largest transmission capacity, the longest transmission distance and the most advanced technology level in the world - Zhundong-Weinan ±1100 kV UHV DC transmission project The Xinjiang section (hereinafter referred to as ±1100 kV UHV Xinjiang section) is fully connected.

The Zhundong-Weinan ±1100 kV UHV DC transmission project passes through Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Henan and Anhui provinces (districts). The Xinjiang section of the project started construction in May 2016, passing through 4 counties (cities) such as Jimsar, Qitai, Mulei and Hami, with a path length of 598.684 km and a total of 1109 base towers.

As the starting point of the project, after nearly two years of construction, the main line project of Xinjiang section has been basically completed, laying a solid foundation for the completion of all the projects in June this year. As a very difficult construction project, the builders have overcome a difficult problem and wrote a new glory in the history of Xinjiang power construction.
